KPoEM Interface is a static prototype for visualizing emotion in modern Korean poetry.
Built on the KPoEM poetry-emotion dataset, the interface offers three distinct reading environments. Close Reading supports detailed exploration of individual poems and line-level emotion analysis. Distant Reading reveals broader distributions and patterns across poets and their works. Co-Reading offers an interactive setting in which readers explore and reinterpret color imagery generated from a poem's emotions and images by AI. Together, these modes invite readers to examine the relationships among text, emotion, and color at multiple scales and to take an active role in constructing poetic meaning.
